greetings.., though digital, but i wanted to achieve a traditional feel for this still life painting, therefore this has all been painted/drawn in a pure traditional fashion, as a charcoal work.
its partly done from life, majorily visualized. i did go thru few refs as well, for the crystal and plants, before making preliminary sketches. the darker cloth has been painted from life, but wasnt kept in this position. its about dealing with values and my main goal was to achieve various textures and surfaces, only thru tones. hence the title, Valueing...
